You are important! I often hear my clients sharing their feelings of not being heard by their loved ones or not knowing where to start in their healing journey. I use self-compassion and your strengths as a starting point to build coping strategies. My goal is to always give you a space to be heard and someone on your team so you know you are not alone. I find the warmth of emotion-focused therapy and integrative approach of psychodynamic therapy combine to create a kind and deep understanding of my clients during their process. Your needs and boundaries are important, together we can work on building confidence and self-advocacy.
Trauma and difficult family relationships are often paired with neurodivergence for a variety of reasons. I have training and experience treating ADHD and experience working with client who are on the ASD spectrum. I offer a trauma informed and neurodivergence affirming practice.
I am excited to begin this process together and to learn more about you. Let me know how I can help, reach out to our team and we can set up a consultation together. I am proud of you for already taking the first step.

Our sessions will begin with validating and exploring your experiences and how they impacted you emotionally in your life. Whether it is trauma or ADHD, developing a safe space within yourself is the starting point to begin tackling these issues. We will then develop a plan that you will feel confident about to set goals for a slow and steady improvement of symptoms.

In our first few sessions, we will discuss what brought you to therapy and how these difficulties are impacting your wellbeing and happiness. We create long-term goals and dig deeper into where these difficulties started and how they are linked to childhood, trauma, and possibly neurodivergence. Every week, we check in on goals and explore a new coping strategy to support you on the way.
