Work-life balance can be difficult to achieve, especially if you have learning challenges, if you are a new parent /caregiver or you are struggling with Mental Health, whether that be from a new stressful event or ongoing trauma. During these times, it is important to have a support network either at home, at work or in the community. If not, there needs to be an outlet, a place you can go for support to regain a sense of self, and just talk it out, or work through what you need. Creating boundaries for ones self is a big start and I can help through 'tangible talk' therapy and providing solution-focused, goal oriented strategies.
I work from a Trauma-Informed and Narrative Therapy Approach (storytelling) and have worked directly with those who have experienced Trauma and Crisis. I want to uncover "why" you are struggling with your thoughts and actions and focus on what we can do together so you can rely on more solid strategies to heal, recover and thrive with more autonomy.
As a mother of two young children I strongly believe in teaching and modeling inclusion and respect. No one likes to feel left out of a situation or group of any kind. I provide an open and non-judgemental, safe space and would like to work with you if you feel like I am a fit for you. Feel free to call, text or email for a free consult to chat first.
