I work alongside my clients to help to improve their daily well-being and happiness. I support people with improving relationships, developing emotional regulation, improving communication and intimacy, trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, attachment issues, substance use, and grief and loss. I also work with mind/body related issues and I am influenced by Eastern philosophy and yoga practices in my work. I provide psychotherapy for both individuals and couples. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor, with a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology. I have had a psychotherapy practice in Nelson, BC for the past 18 years.
I work with individual clients to improve overall wellness and mood. I support couples to find new ways to connect, and deepen communication. I practice trauma informed therapy and I have extensive cultural training. I am experienced in improving communication, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, grief, parenting, and much more.
I work to create a safe and supportive client-centered therapeutic relationship. I work with clients to resolve difficult family issues and find new ways to approach life. I work with clients to reduce anxiety and depression issues. I have experience working with Indigenous people, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
