Amanda Balsillie, SW Dip, BSW, MSW, RSW. I take a holistic approach in therapy and want to make sure you are heard and what you are experiencing or going through is supported in therapy. I am an Indigenous Mental Health Therapist that respects Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Westernized Practices. I love being a Therapeutic Play Practitioner. I am also working as a Provisional Clinical Social Worker and being guided by a Clinical Supervisor in the Edmonton area.

Indigenous people would rely on the teachings of the four directions, how I practice encompasses the four areas within the four directions; which is, physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. Keeping a balance in the four areas is keeping good balance in one's life. Challenges and major disruptions in life need support in a good way.
