My name is Alyssa Brewer and it is an honour to be joining you today from the Syilx territory where I live, work, and play as an allied white settler. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor at Soul & Science Counselling, providing EMDR therapy and clinical counselling services virtually throughout BC, AB, and SK as well as in-person in Penticton. I'm passionate about blending the science of healing with sustainable and holistic approaches for body and brain wellness. My education and passion surrounds concerns associated with trauma, substance use, chronic pain, and stress conditions related to frontline work.

Through a trauma-informed approach, we will create a collaborative plan that unlocks your ability to repair unhelpful belief systems, live more fully in the present, and find healing in mind, body, and spirit while incorporating tools from EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence informed practices.
