Mainspring Counselling utilizes a holistic approach to wellness. I work closely with individuals and families to increase self- awareness and achieve self-motivation. Through the use of various psycho-therapeutic modalities, I support our clients to recognize and trust their inner voice and leverage their experiences and strengths to create wellness and healing. My aim is to create a welcoming and relatable environment through the acknowledgement of systemic barriers such as racism, classism etc. and a clear anti-oppressive mandate.
Specializing in trauma and healing, My work with clients emphasizes the importance of incorporating knowledge of "inner roots" in order to create sustainable plans to maintain mental wellness and grow healthy relationships. I believe that our clients are their strongest motivational source; as a result my work seeks to "ignite" their "mainspring".
Have you experienced trauma? Faced with challenging situations, choices or difficulty? Positioning myself as a guide, I walk alongside and support clients through their recovery journey; offering practical tools, interventions, therapeutic techniques and achievable counselling goals. The end result is an internalized sense of peace, purpose and contentment.
