About
I provide a safe and welcoming environment in which to support you along your healing journey. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential, and you can expect a compassionate and genuine therapist who is dedicated to helping you grow to your fullest potential. I believe that you are the best expert on your life and that effective therapy involves a process of skill building and learning to trust your intrinsic wisdom. Therapeutic success to me is when you can use the wisdom from both your mind and body in order to make choices that are congruent with your values.
My professional experience and education allows me to treat a wide variety of concerns with a flexible approach that is tailored to your unique needs. You can expect to gain increased insight into your existing patterns as well as practical strategies for achieving and maintaining positive changes.
I use a blend of somatic and cognitive modalities in my practice. This includes Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and clinical hypnosis for sleep. I provide a discrete and confidential environment to explore issues related to unhealthy coping patterns as well as Abuse and/or Assault.
