About

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor that is trained to work with individuals & couples. I excel at helping you expand your emotional tolerance, reactions & communication skills. Too many of us suffer in silence with anxiety, low self-esteem, unprocessed trauma and anger. You are not alone and I am here to encourage you to let those experiences be felt in a safe & non judgmental environment. I call myself Speakeasy Counselling because I know how hard it can be for most people to do therapy and my goal is to make it engaging, insightful and rewarding. To be vulnerable means not having our deepest feelings and secrets shot down.
Have you had a terrible experience in counselling in the past where you felt completely alone? I am sorry. My approach is warm, engaging, curious & compassionate. I treat trauma & emotional disturbances using somatic experiencing techniques, somatic psychotherapy & AEDP. My goal is to build & teach you a sense of safety, trust & vulnerable communication.
Feeling stuck may be what brought you here. Life & relationships should not be as hard as you have been experiencing them and I can help you turn your life around. The work we do in sessions extends into your business life & performance as they are dictated by your ability to communicate, build trust, extend vulnerable leadership & take accountability.
