As a registered psychologist, I have learned that children and families can thrive - even when facing overwhelming circumstances. I value the importance of human relationships in our children's mental health. We are wired for connection, and it is through secure relationships that we can heal, learn, and grow. Using research-informed and compassionate therapy, I help children and parents to build the capacity and growth to navigate their challenges. I also provide psychological assessments for developmental and learning issues. I am a passionate advocate for high-quality mental health care that is equitable and accessible to all.
I work with parents and children facing complex challenges. With the majority of my experience in hospital settings, I offer assistance to children coping with chronic health conditions, emotional challenges such as anxiety or depression, or issues with feeding, sleep, self-esteem and body image. I provide a safe space, collaboration and family-centred care.
All parents want to see their children meet life's challenges and build resilience. It is unsettling when our children struggle. Parents and children can do hard things, just not in isolation. My 15 years have shown me that with empathic support, our caregivers, children, and teens can overcome and thrive. I would be honoured to support you in your journey.
