As of April 1st, I will be taking on in-person clients down Fredericton.
It can be difficult to reach out to a professional to open up about your inner world and learning to trust a therapist can be unnerving. A lot of people see therapy as a one-sided conversation, with little to no opportunity for interaction or authentic connection. Although calling a therapist can be intimidating, I don't believe therapy has to be an intimidating process. I can assure you that as a practitioner, I use a warm empathic approach to connect. Life is too precious to surrender to unhealthy relationships, low self-worth, addiction, and trauma.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space where clients can become empowered to learn about their own capacity for healing. There's also no dress code, swear jar, or psychobabble. I encourage you to come as you are.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a Clinical Therapist in a private addictions facility and Social Services roles with non-profit and government organizations. It is through this work that I have witnessed first-hand our unlimited capacity for growth and resilience when surrounded with the right support.
