Hello all. My name is Alex Heustis and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Licensed Counselling Therapist. I am also the owner and practitioner of Chrysalis Counselling, a private practice located in downtown Fredericton. I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to collaborating with you throughout the counselling process. I practice from an eclectic/integrative framework to assist my clients in reaching their goals, better understanding themselves, finding meaning in their lives, or dealing with the difficulties and challenges of living. Depending on your concern or focus, I will draw upon a variety of therapeutic theories and perspectives to help get you to your destination.
I see each individual as the expert of their own lives and experiences and believe that you have the skills, tools, insights, and answers to overcome whichever challenge you may be faced with. It is a constant privilege for me to walk alongside clients as we work to access these areas and move towards being their authentic self and living the life they want.
