Clients are more than an issue or a diagnosis, and therapy needs to reflect this. People need to be understood in their entirety, and therapy should adapt to the whole of what they present. Clients are working to overcome the barriers of mental health struggles, while also trying to function in relationships, work, school, and other important domains of life; I want to help them thrive in all of these settings.

Life poses many challenges. Sometimes we are able to manage and cope with life's challenges quite well. At other times, challenges become overwhelming and turn into problems that affect our work, relationships and overall outlook on life. I am a dedicated and experienced therapist with the belief that problems are a natural part of life and when dealt with in healthy ways can provide opportunities for growth and adaptation. My approach is collaborative in nature and based on the assumption that we all have the inner resources required to deal with problems and live happy, healthy and meaningful lives.

To the outside world, you may appear to function well. But on the inside, you might be in a constant state of anxiety and discomfort. It can be frustrating and confusing when life looks good on the outside but doesn’t feel as good on the inside. You might find that you spiral into overwhelming worry and fear of losing control. You might have anxiety about having anxiety. You might feel stuck, and held back in life. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and burnout.

You are a driven individual, perhaps in your mid-20s to early 30s, taking on more responsibility in your life, creating a life for yourself, and carving your own path. Juggling increased responsibilities at work and in your personal life, you're pressured by finances, managing family dynamics, and nurturing relationships, leaving you stressed and uncertain. You may even be questioning who you are and what it is you want out of your life. You crave a sense of control and clarity in your journey, sensing that you are not fully expressing your authentic self and are frustrated with slow pace of change.

You feel overwhelmed or numb and it hurts. The cycle of distressing feelings and fight-flight-freeze reactions keep you stuck. You hold it all inside, but no matter how hard you try, the emotions spill over and you snap at loved ones or shut down. Your mind tells you, "you are not good enough". You avoid taking action and relationships feel like a struggle because it’s hard to trust and let people in but you long to create connections with the ones you love. You can gain this connection! You don’t have to live in the past or in the future, you can learn to live in the present fully through awareness and active coping skills.
