She provides practical education and skills for individuals seeking to make improvements in various domains of life such as behavioural, emotional, relational, spiritual, occupational, and social. She treats adults from all walks of life and has extensive experience working with Public Safety Personnel.
Alanna specializes in the treatment of trauma, PTSD, and Complex PTSD using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy. She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Clinical Hypnosis, and inner child healing work.
Alanna incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to meet her clients where they are at and believes strongly in empowering clients to take charge of their mental health. She believes in her clients’ capacity for resilience – to learn, grow stronger, and recover meaning through working through adversity.
