Everybody from an early age develops a 'story'. The story becomes an accumulation of everything that we experience. Made up of thoughts, emotions and feelings. All stories are similar, how we learn to live with our experiences makes our story unique. We learn to identify, believing that we are our story, creating situations and patterns in our lives that often become problematic. Psychotherapy is extremely beneficial if you are experiencing low self esteem, depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, loneliness, anger, forgiveness, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges and family struggles.

Psychotherapy is a journey taken by therapist - client working together in a safe environment, with trust, respect, openness and Exploring new possibilities together. My training includes, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, (AEDP) Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, (EFT) Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, (MBCT) Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. Mindful Psychotherapy, Strengths developed include: listening, reflecting, sensitivity and deep awareness.

Mindfulness Support Practice

MBCT. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. Mindfulness helps us to relate differently to 'all' psychological and physical challenging situations and conditions, such as depression stress and anxiety. Helps us to calm the mind and body and to be more present in our lives. Research has proven that regular mindfulness practice can even improve our neurochemistry affecting the functioning of the brain. This cognitive therapeutic approach using mindfulness helps identify negative thought patterns often related to feelings of hopelessness and helplessness, reducing emotional reactivity Opening us to more constructive beliefs, often leading to changes in moods and behaviours. As a group we practice integrating different mindfulness techniques.
