Oftentimes the way out of a difficult situation requires us to take a different path. Whatever we’ve been doing no longer seems to be working. Psychotherapy can help. I have a passion for helping couples break unhealthy relationship patterns in order to repair trust, rebuild connection and establish a deeper understanding of one another. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and I am able to work with interracial couples and couples of all backgrounds and faiths. I work equally with individuals on various issues that keep them feeling stuck and isolated. I seek to walk side-by-side with you to explore a new path.
In order to help you, I draw from and integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches as listed. Thanks to my legal background, I am comfortable working from a cognitive or emotions based perspective. In all of my work, I endeavour to be trauma-informed and non-pathologizing.
