Welcome to my page! My name is Aisha (eye-sha), and I am a Somatic Art Psychotherapist. I value authenticity and strive to offer thoughtful, intuitive and radically compassionate care, rooted in anti-oppressive community practice, and embodied liberation. I am not a robot, I am a heart-centred, imperfect human walking this earth just like you. I will do my best to bring my full self to our sessions, which will show up as laughing, silliness, getting things wrong sometimes, embracing messiness and potentially shedding a few tears together.
I strive to create a safe space (relatively) for you to come forward about what you'd like to explore at your own pace and without an agenda. Please do not mistake art therapy as an offering for only children and youth, adults can also greatly benefit from expressing themselves creatively!
I am hopeful that my profile has felt inviting, welcoming and inclusive! If you think that you may be interested in working with me, feel free to email me. We can schedule a 15-minute consultation call to discuss what may be best for you. A call where there is no pressure to continue unless it feels right for you :)
