As a clinical forensic psychologist, I focus on risk assessment of individuals with sexual offences, who are before the court or involved with child protection. I provide comprehensive forensic assessments to assist the courts or child protection in making determinations about sentencing or access to children. Sexological risk assessments can also determine the presence of a sexual/paraphilic disorder that may require additional treatment or intervention.
I have 20 years of experience providing therapy and assessment to individuals with concerns about their sexual thoughts, feelings or behaviour. Often when people reach out to me they are experiencing some of the most challenging times of their lives and my goal is to provide a fair, compassionate and accurate assessment as part of the legal process.
I often conduct assessments virtually/online, but have the ability to meet in person as needed for the assessment in various locations in Ontario. I am also registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
