Hello, my name is Aimee, and it would be my honour to support you on your healing journey. I am a licensed counsellor in South Surrey, BC that works from a wellness-based perspective, believing that creating a sense of empowerment and self-awareness are some of the ultimate goals for therapy. I believe that we all deserve to find a place where we can learn about ourselves in a space that is open and safe. Through this journey we can learn how to best support the parts of us that deserve to be loved, forgiven, and understood.
Within my work I strive to be open-minded, empathetic, kind, curious, and non-judgmental. My experience includes working as a headteacher with children, youth, and their families within specialty programs for the Surrey School district as well as creative and collaborative experiences in the arts.
I am a believer in the power of people to learn, grow and make changes in their life on their own time, and at their own pace. Therapy is the privilege of walking beside someone in their journey of wellness.
