My clinical social work practice is focused on adults who are experiencing difficult transitions. I excel at working with people on a variety of issues related to grief and loss, caregiver stress and distress, depression and anxiety, issues specific to women, aging parents and trauma.

My practice focuses on anxiety and worry, cancer, grief / loss and mental health support and trauma. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgmental approach for all clients. My approach is supportive and compassionate. I explore a person's needs and past experiences to examine issues related to the presenting concerns.

In therapy, I try to find balance between addressing a person's "problems" within the medical model and assist people to create new stories an allow them to move through the presenting problem. My approach to counselling is influenced by an exploration of a person's needs and experiences as well as Somatic Experiencing.
