I am passionate about supporting you to live fully within the wisdom of your body. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (16525) I support those who have experienced a disconnection to their body due to sexual trauma, relational abuse, an eating disorder/disordered eating, and reproductive health trauma. I assist clients in their process of coming home to their body through a multidisciplinary and personalized approach that relies on depth psychology, relational somatics, intersectional feminism, and mindfulness. I acknowledge that the relationship women have to their body is complex; my education honours that complexity.
I have studied Trauma Recovery at Harvard Medical School, Sex Therapy at the University of Guelph and Eating Disorder Treatment at the University College London (UCL). Presently, I am enrolled in a Doctorate of Counselling Psychology & Psychotherapy while also studying Psychosexual Therapy (Reproductive Mental Health) at the University of Sydney.
I am a fully certified Compassionate Inquiry, Somatic Experiencing and Focusing-Oriented Practitioner. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Hakomi. I hold both a Masters of Counselling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Depth Psychology and Somatic Studies. I offer therapeutic mentorship to new practitioners.
