I am passionate about supporting you in living fully within the wisdom of your body. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (16525) and a Certified Sex Therapist (AASECT), I support those who have experienced a disconnection to their body due to sexual trauma, relational abuse, an eating disorder/disordered eating, and reproductive health trauma. I assist clients in coming home to their bodies through a multidisciplinary and personalized approach that relies on depth psychology, relational somatics, intersectional feminism, and mindfulness.
I acknowledge that women's relationship with their bodies is complex; my education honours that complexity. I have studied Trauma Recovery at Harvard Medical School, Sex Therapy at the University of Guelph, and Eating Disorder Treatment at the University College London. I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Depth Psychology.
I am fully certified in Internal Family Systems, Compassionate Inquiry, Somatic Experiencing, and Focus-Oriented Practitioner. I have trained in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Hakomi. As a couples therapist, I have trained in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method. I offer therapeutic mentorship to new practitioners.
