Many of the people I work with feel stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. They may be navigating challenges in relationships, grief, addiction, unwanted sexual behaviours, excessive screen use, or a sense that life is not unfolding as they hoped. I often work with people who have carried their pain and longings on their own for a long time. Though it can feel risky, sharing your story with a safe person can open space for greater freedom, clarity, and deeper connection.
My work is grounded in attachment theory, family systems, and developmental psychology. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Satir Model to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Our work balances insight with practical tools for meaningful change.
Starting counselling can feel vulnerable, especially if you are used to carrying things on your own. You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. If you are feeling stuck, I invite you to reach out and jump into a session. Excited to work with you!
