Hello My name is Ahmad Shihab, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and Director of Serenity Psychotherapy Clinic.
I offer psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families. We can meet in-person or virtually (online). I offer therapy in English or Arabic (most dialects).
When it comes to therapy, my philosophy is that the client is at the heart of the process, and I simply have the privilege to walk alongside them in their journey of healing and growth. I work from a client-centered and integrative theoretical frameworks.
I am well versed in several different approaches and techniques, which allow me to support in a wide range of presenting concerns. While walking alongside you in your unique journey, and through remaining curious and non-jugdemental I aim to help both of us gain a better understanding of you, and draw upon your unique strengths to reach your goals.
I understand the thought of starting therapy can be scary or even embarrasing at times. I am a strong believer of approaching the process gently and with care. With the aim of building the necessary skills to gain a deeper understanding of the self, develop sustainable strategies to grow, or to heal from what life may throw our way sometimes.
