I have had the privilege of working in rural Ontario, where I conducted psychoeducational and psychological assessments, as well as facilitating a Support for Depression group with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). My approach is rooted in empathy and goal attainment, and I have supported both adolescents (16+) and adults dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, the complex stresses of work, life transitions, and relationship issues.
In my practice, I take an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a person-centred approach to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Being bilingual in English and multiple Arabic dialects allows me to serve a broader community.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, complemented by my studies at the American University of Kuwait and York University.
