I primarily focus on working with adults (18 and over) in individual therapy. I am comfortable with a wide variety of presenting issues, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, addiction, self-esteem, relational issues, meaning, identity conflicts, and trauma. I also provide christian counselling services to those seeking to bring their faith into the counselling room.

Life isn't always easy. As human beings, we are constantly balancing our own needs with those of the people around us. We strive for mental and emotional balance, yet feel drawn to do more for others. We are inundated with tips on how to "be yourself" and still often find it difficult to figure out who that "self" actually is. As a result anxiety and depression are ever more commonplace. And like sometimes it may feel like being stuck in quicksand: the more we struggle to get free, the faster we sink. In order to get out of that trap of ever more activity, we need to slow down and listen. We need to look into the mirror of our Self.

As a Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Qualified Mindfulness Instructor, I work with you to help you make sense of your own life experiences, understand how your past affects you now, and make positive changes.
