What do you think when you think of therapy? Are you looking for a therapist who is warm, open, and wants to support you exactly where you are at? When you think of connecting with a therapist, what are some of your hopes? My name is Adrian and I want to provide an open and collaborative space where we can connect about issues you are facing. Things such as grief, depression, anxiety, systemic oppression, not feeling accepted, transitions, and maybe an overall feeling that things are harder than they could be.
As a queer, non-binary, neurodivergant social worker, I can appreciate how isolating things can feel at times and that lack of belonging is a system issue. I hope to support you in feeling safe, belonging, and to build together a sense that you are not broken, or in need of being fixed. I offer a space where we can be our authentic selves-whatever that means
We can collaborate in ways to highlight not only how you are resisting systems of domination such as capitalism, patriarchy, colonization, and white supremely, but explore how you can continue to resist by being your most authentic self.
