Life can be challenging. We've all been there. And sometimes we need a little extra support to get through them. I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker. I have been working as a social worker for more than 24 years. I have worked in a hospital in mental health for 15 years and have transitioned my knowledge and experience into private practice. I work primarily with adults who struggle with borderline personality, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and substance abuse. I also offer online services to those NWT, Nunavut, Yukon and Ontario.
I have a special interest in working to empower people to achieve their potential and enhance their strengths. Often this is done by learning new skills to cope with life's challenges or becoming aware of patterns of behaviours or ways of thinking.
I use a variety of approaches to work with my clients including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Self Regulation Therapy (SRT) and Mindfulness. I work Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm and Friday's from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm..
