I help people overcome anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, and many others. I ensure that my clients have the tools to maintain the gains they have made with me. The services I offer are effective, efficient, collaborative, and affordable. I have an extensive clinical and academic background in psychology, psychiatry, and pharmacology. Moreover, my education in the humanities and my personal varied background helps me serve clients dealing with multicultural, cross-cultural, and family matters. I have been in a private practice since 2009 with 25 years of experience in the field. I also teach at MacEwan University.
I have had intensive training in T.E.A.M. Therapy (Dr. David Burns), which is an advanced version of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is the most effective non-drug treatment available. I also use mindfulness and am holistic. This allows me to treat clients effectively, regardless of their issues or circumstances. My success rate is extremely high.
My practice is unconventional in that I let clients determine the duration and frequency of sessions. I endeavour to empower clients as much as possible. I see clients only by appointment, seven days a week, including evening hours. Moreover, my hourly rate is the same if there are multiple clients during a session (i.e. a family or couples' counselling).
