I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I provide treatment to individuals with a variety of anxiety and mood disorders. I have particular interest and specialization in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other conditions, including depression, worry, panic and insomnia. I have extensive experience working with active military and veterans, police, fire, paramedics, and other public service personnel impacted by traumatic events and associated concerns.
I utilize treatments that are shown through research to be effective in treating these disorders. In particular, I employ Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies and I have specialized training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy for the treatment of PTSD.
I continue to hone and strengthen my clinical skills through research and training and I place great importance on working collaboratively with clients. I work on a multidisciplinary team where consultation and collaboration is strongly emphasized in order to provide the highest level of care.
