I am currently available for individual and relationship clients who have availability during the daytime hours. My areas of experience in individual and relationship counselling are 2SLGBTQ+, neurodiversity, asexuality and aromantic, trauma presentations, polyamory or non-monogamy, and kink. I am a trauma-informed neurodivergent social worker who decolonizes their practice. I have been working in social work, practicing psychotherapy for 11 years, with 5 years in private practice. I am a confirmed non-insured health benefits mental health care provider, so if you have NIHB, I will directly bill sessions for you.
I like to make learning fun and help you map out your autonomic nervous system and understand how your anxiety/depression/trauma is manifesting. I am committed to helping you every step of the way to combating any areas in your life that you want to change. I provide EMDR therapy in a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming way for individuals/couples.
I am compassionate, understanding, and non-judgemental. I can use humor within sessions. I feel that shared experiences can strengthen our bond. For me, having a human-to-human connection is important and very meaningful so I show up as authentic and genuine. I would consider myself to be a radical social worker who cares deeply about equity.
