There are not many places that are dedicated to learning and understanding yourself and how truly unique your experiences are. I think therapy is one of those places to have that opportunity, I aim to really get to know you and what your experiences are! Areas I work are in topics related to anxiety, stress, self-esteem, self-love, confidence, isolation, relationships, communication, motivation, 2SLGBTQ+ identities, negative racialized experiences, and depression. I believe in the power of self-exploration, in a space where you are validated, accepted, and listened to, you might surprise yourself on what you can take from here.
I pull from a mix of different therapeutic approaches to explore yourself and your problems, deciding together what approach best fits for you. Utilizing my lived experiences and philosophical background, I provide support with approaches like narrative-based, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural theories (DBT and CBT), and solution-focused therapies.
As a Queer, gay, South Asian man, I know first hand how difficult it can be to find safety in mental health care and to trust that there are safe and understanding places to share your story. I strive to create a space of safety and trust where everyone is welcome to share openly and express themselves authentically.
