I use a holistic approach to comprehensively understand and address the many factors which can undermine mental health, and have particular interest in the mind-body connection. I have experience in a vast array of clinical settings which include work within mental health & addictions practice, brain injuries rehabilitation and other hospital settings. I am experienced in providing effective treatment strategies for a range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, Indigenous trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, drug and alcohol challenges, chronic pain, relationship issues and disability management.
Reaching out for counselling can be hard. I approach this relationship with complete respect and trust for the individual(s), but also bring my knowledge of how mental health problems develop and how they are treated so that you are once again in a position of resilience and wellbeing. I tailor my approach to each client as I believe that everyone is unique.
I enjoy working with adults of all ages, youth 13+, and couples to manage life stressors, transitions and building resiliency. I strongly believe in a person-centred and evidence-based approach.
