Hi, my name is Chrissy Gallo - RP (Qualifying), MACP, CYC, SSW. Sometimes, our experiences can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and dysregulated. These emotions can impact our relationships with others and our relationships with ourselves. I encourage therapeutic growth by nurturing the inner child, making peace with the inner critic, and reconnecting clients with their authentic sense of self. I value the healing impact of our parts being seen, heard, validated, and accepted. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centered, Self-Compassion, Existential, Narrative, Strength-based, Attachment-based, and Polyvagal Theory.
I work with individuals, couples, parents, and youth. I have expertise in supporting clients who identify as neurodivergent. I am trauma informed and specialize in ADHD, autism, education and learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, stress, eating disorders, pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum, LGBTQ+, peer relationships, codependency, parenting, and more.
I understand that our complicated relationships and systemic barriers shape the lenses we use to view the world. I use relational and culturally affirming frameworks to support clients' intersectionalities. I advocate for diversity, inclusion, and authenticity. I embrace the empowerment of unmasking with clients from LGBTQ2S+ and neurodivergent communities.
