Hi, my name is Abdul Wasey and I am here to support you on your healing journey. I am a South Asian, first generation immigrant, third culture kid, and a father of three highly-amusing kids. I am passionate about helping BIPOC clients navigate difficult emotions, thoughts, and patterns of behaviour that may be impacting their relationships. I understand the need for BIPOC clients to have a therapist who can relate to the nuances of their culture and faith. You don't have to hide your school lunch from me, you can be proud of it!
Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, etc., my goal is to provide an empathetic, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space for you. I am also very passionate about helping BIPOC men get to a better place emotionally. My style leans more towards Gestalt and Psychodynamic.
