Hi! I'm Tammy I grew up in the country loving sunsets, lakes, and walks where breathing in fresh air was one of the best ways to fill up my heart. I have been gifted many challenges up to this point in my life which has helped me dig deep down into my soul to become my best version of myself. My life experience has provided me with the opportunity to share vulnerably and authentically with individuals looking for a new way to live.

Life can often feel overwhelming, but you do not have to face it alone. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma or relational struggles, I'm here to walk through it with you. I work with individuals, families and couples through their personal journeys. In therapy we can explore past relationships and experiences, how they shape the way we connect with others and ourselves and how to build stronger, more fulfilling connections moving forward. Therapy is about connection, trust, and growth, and together we'll work to navigate your emotions and experiences in a way that feels right for you.

Life has a way of piling on — unresolved trauma, overwhelming grief, anxious thoughts that just won’t quit, or the invisible weight of being everything to everyone. I work with adults who are dealing with the complex layers of life — primarily trauma and trauma histories, but also grief, depression, anxiety, postpartum transitions and family/parental stress. My approach is grounded, collaborative, and deeply respectful. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, honest, and empowering — where your autonomy and lived experience are honoured, and where mind and body are seen as connected in the healing process.

Hi, I’m Jacelyn, a client-centered psychologist who believes in the power of connection and relationship as the foundation for healing. Many of the people I work with are overwhelmed parents, anxious women, adolescents, and adults who feel stuck, burned out, or emotionally flooded by the demands of everyday life. You may find yourself constantly second-guessing yourself, caught in negative thought patterns, or feeling as though your nervous system is always in fight-or-flight mode. If things feel harder than they “should,” I want you to know you’re not alone—and you’re not broken.

You may notice repeating patterns in how you relate to yourself, others, and life—even when you’re trying to change them. Grief, trauma, stress, and overwhelm can leave you feeling stuck, shut down, reactive, or disconnected. I work with individuals, including adults and teens, and couples wanting clarity on why this keeps happening and how to begin to shift it. Together, we’ll figure out what’s driving these patterns and build practical ways to shift them so you can feel more steady and connected.

I provide both therapy and psychoeducational assessments. If you’re looking for answers about your child’s learning, attention, or emotional well-being—or trying to make sense of your own stress, anxiety, or life transitions—you’re in the right place. In therapy, I work primarily with women, many of them moms, who are seeking greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being. Many of my clients are managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, or past trauma. Others come in feeling disconnected—from themselves, their relationships, or the life they thought they’d be living.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
