Spending much of my younger years as an elite athlete and growing up on a traditional farm with little resources, I had little-to-no understanding of mental health and how to cope with my struggles in an appropriate way. Although this led me down a personally-dark path, it also led me down to an eventaul road of personal accountability and a new passion for helping others navigate similar challenges using healthier coping mechanisms. Many of my clients fall within the adolescent to adult-age range and often struggle with anxiety, pressures, relationships, and low mood; That said, I am always open to supporting a wide-range of issues

Do you feel like anger overshadows your relationships, blocking out joy? Is constant worry making it hard to appreciate life’s simple pleasures and leaving you anxious, unable to savor important moments? Many quietly suffer from life’s emotional fallout, believing silence is their only option. But this silence can be the calm before a storm disrupting your sense of self. Speaking up is the first step to healing. In a world that can feel overwhelming, know you’re not alone. I’m here to offer hope and a place to clear the clouds of doubt and find sunlight in your life again.

Trauma impacts all areas of our lives and can leave us in a constant state of discomfort, anxiety, or feeling unsafe in our own bodies and the world. We might find ourselves reacting in ways that make us feel out of control. Our relationships might suffer, and we might turn to food, work, substances, or other distractions to try and get away from thoughts and feelings about what happened to us. Sometimes we might even feel like there are parts of us that think and feel different things. Trauma can come in the form of accidents, abuse, neglect, minority stress, bullying, micro aggressions, assault, or conversion therapy to name a few
