Hi, I’m Tierney, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a clinical counsellor who works with individuals, couples, and youth ages 6 and up. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, navigating relationship or friendship challenges, or exploring your identity, you don’t have to do it alone. I provide a safe, welcoming, and neurodivergent-friendly space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore what’s happening in your life—whether your concerns feel big or small. At its core, my work is about helping you reconnect with your sense of what truly matters—your values, your relationships, your sense of self.

As a parent, you’re doing your best - but something feels off. Maybe your child is having more meltdowns or your teen seems anxious, withdrawn, or overwhelmed. You’ve tried talking, setting boundaries, staying patient - but nothing seems to stick. I understand how heavy that can be. As an Indigenous Canadian Certified Counsellor, former elementary teacher, and current school counsellor, I’ve spent my career supporting children and teens through some of their most formative and challenging years. Together, we can help your child feel more understood, capable, and supported.

Welcome! I am currently accepting new clients for evening and weekend appointments. I work with individuals seeking to move forward from trauma, anxiety or OCD. Maybe you're often thinking about the way certain events could have turned out different, having troubles feeling comfortable in public, or maybe it's a specific image or feeling about an experience that's hard to shake. With anxiety and OCD, whether it's the physical discomfort, the "what-ifs," thoughts of "what do these thoughts mean about me" or all of the above, I can help you figure things out and feel more at ease.

You're exhausted from anxiety that won't quit, trauma on repeat, or relationship patterns leaving you stuck and disconnected. You're done surviving—ready to feel safe in your body, connected in relationships, and grounded in who you are. You need a therapist who gets the messy stuff without judgment—someone real, compassionate, and honest who knows when humor helps. Trained in EMDR and Gottman Method, I use proven approaches tailored to what you need—breaking painful patterns, understanding what's driving your struggles, and creating lasting transformation from the inside out. Not quick fixes—real change that sticks.

Everyone has a story! Everyone's story is multi-layered and contains multiple levels of pain. My clients suffer from depression, anxiety, addiction, borderline personality disorder, emotional dysregulation, and grief & loss. Their immediate needs are relief from such issues, finding peace of mind, and regaining control of their lives. Clients want to be heard and seen and experience love and acceptance, regardless of what is going on around them. Clients want these things because they desire to know and be reassured that there is hope for a bright future.

Grief has knocked you off balance, your emotions fluctuate day to day. The sudden change hits you, turning everything upside down, and you feel like you're on a rollercoaster. It's left you walking around aimlessly in an odd, surreal haze. The most tangible thing you feel is emptiness, and it's hard to imagine anything ever filling it. Sad and lonely, you can't do ordinary tasks (or get out of bed, for that matter). It's hard to "move on" when you feel this down. You know you'll have to find new ways of coping, but it doesn't seem fair. Understandably, you're angry about it, and you might even feel guilty about that.
