I also, draw from DBT, CBT, ego state and parts work therapies, somatic therapy and Mindfulness.
Trauma can leave an imprint on our lives, but it does not have to be permanent. It may alter your foundation and leave you lost, angry, confused and in unbearable pain. I believe that choosing to rebuild this foundation through therapy is a courageous step in healing. It is not always an easy journey as we need to survey the land, start digging, install the foundation and work with any arising obstacles. This can be an exhausting and scary process but we will work collaboratively at your pace and create a resolution that fits for you.

As a therapist, there are number of ways to approach therapy, however, in my estimation what is needed is the ability to increase your own awareness, be in a room that does not judge you, and be empowered enough to find the courage to action the things life requires of you. In order to do so, it is my role to provide you with notable insight and tools to be able to befriend your mind, cultivate our therapeutic relationship, and challenge you to think, act, and see the world more authentically in line with your goals.

Somatic experiencing, mindfulness, neuroscience, and spirituality are infused within my approach.
You may have already listened to the podcasts, read the books, and tried tackling your healing journey alone, but you haven’t yet experienced the kind of relief and shift you have been seeking in your life. You might still be chronically anxious, stuck in the same old patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting, and feeling like your life is missing a sense of fulfillment, wholeness, and joy. Talking about your problems or trying the occasional lifestyle change/coping strategy might not be enough at this point for you. You are not alone! This is where most people get stuck, and this is where I can help.

Many of our emotional wounds are formed in our early relationships with others, which is why the attunement, unconditional acceptance, and healthy boundaries modeled within the therapeutic relationship can be so healing later in life. I take genuine pleasure in providing people with these “missed experiences,” because the world is a brighter place when we're seen, understood and SAFE. With your permission, I'll challenge you, and together we'll work to restore your connection to your core Self. Balancing the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of who you are can feel overwhelming at times, but I'm here to also make it kinda fun!

Choosing a therapist is a strange process, but therapy is more effective when the therapist is a good fit for the client. I hope that by reading this, you can get an idea of whether I might be a fit for you! My clients have a range of presenting concerns, but the focus of my practice is on complex, developmental, and/or relational trauma. I’m particularly passionate about working with adolescents, as well as adults, couples, and caregivers. In my work, I support clients as they compassionately integrate their hardest experiences into their stories and learn to care for themselves as inherently worthy and deeply relational beings.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from themselves. When we spend too much time in our heads, we lose touch with our heart, body, and inner grounding. I offer a gentle, steady space where you can show up as you are. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, or big transitions, I walk alongside you with sincerity and care. My work integrates evidence-based approaches with a holistic understanding of the heart-mind-body connection, helping you reconnect with clarity, strength, and the deeper parts of yourself.
