In our structured existential, rapid therapeutic, or psychospiritual sessions, we'll uncover root causes, focusing on holistic processing, somatic integration, and trauma-informed care.
The relentless demands of modern life often compel us to overwork, seek validation, and suppress aspects of ourselves we fear may not be accepted. Over time, these patterns can lead to exhaustion and disconnection from our authentic selves, leaving us feeling drained, unfulfilled, and out of alignment. Much of this struggle stems from the hidden or “shadow” parts of ourselves—the emotions, desires, and traits we’ve learned to suppress. Through shadow work, we can bring these parts into the light with curiosity and compassion, unraveling unconscious patterns that drive stress, anxiety, and burnout.

I join clients in acknowledging their present experience, adjust the pace and focus within sessions to support curiosity to flow, allow space for insight to appear, and provide opportunities to feel through emotions and somatic experiences gently, supporting growth in capacity to connect with a flexible range of internal states, increased emotional resilience and ability to both rest and engage.
Lunch hour, weekday afternoon/ evenings, Saturdays & complimentary consults. Counseling is time we get to bring attention to what you’re feeling and, given what you’ve experienced already, notice what you're ready to connect with now. My practice is rooted in nurturing secure connection with self and others. Perpetually intrigued at how things can shift naturally and feel surprisingly easier as the wisdom in our body/ nervous system is effectively included in healing conversation, I value working collaboratively to support feelings of security, purpose & fulfillment, alongside a titrated, intentional release of anxiety/ fear.

I use Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT, DBT, EFT, SFT, and Existential Therapy most often with my clients.
I help people learn to forgive themselves for the things they had to do in order to survive. I believe that when we feel safe in our body and free from the shackles of our past, we can create our dream reality. By honouring our sensitive nature, and creating a safe space to explore, we can set our inner child free - inviting playfulness, humour, and curiosity to the healing process. We are not what has happened to us, we are who we choose to become. I'm here to help you discover who you truly are on a soul level.

I also, draw from DBT, CBT, ego state and parts work therapies, somatic therapy and Mindfulness.
Trauma can leave an imprint on our lives, but it does not have to be permanent. It may alter your foundation and leave you lost, angry, confused and in unbearable pain. I believe that choosing to rebuild this foundation through therapy is a courageous step in healing. It is not always an easy journey as we need to survey the land, start digging, install the foundation and work with any arising obstacles. This can be an exhausting and scary process but we will work collaboratively at your pace and create a resolution that fits for you.

I use a combination of talk therapy and somatic approaches in session.
Are you feeling stressed, lost, overwhelmed, alone? Perhaps you are struggling because something has happened or because you're going through major life changes. Maybe you're feeling like you don't know who you are anymore? Everything is going well, you've gotten what you've wanted in life, but you feel unhappy and don't know why. Perhaps your spiritual beliefs are changing or you don't know what brings you meaning. You don't have to figure it out alone. It's helpful to have someone to talk to in order to get to the root of the issue and support you in becoming the person you want to be and in living a fulfilling life.

I am a Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). I believe that my role is to provide a supportive safe space where your voice is heard and your goals take centre stage. My commitment is to help you not just cope, but to thrive. Together, we will create realistic goals and map out a unique path to achieve them. When the right therapeutic fit is found, you may be surprised at how quickly you begin to feel meaningful change.

Life transitions, daily stressors, trauma, and mental illnesses can negatively influence the way we think, feel, and behave. These factors can cause us to feel "stuck" in old habits and patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that no longer serve us. I recognize that when we are stuck, it is difficult to make that first step towards change and reach out for support. Hence, I acknowledge you for making the first step into finding what works best for you. I understand that you want to take charge of your mental and emotional pain so that you can unlock your utmost potential.

I often incorporate CBT and somatic techniques, but I recognize that one approach doesn't fit everyone.
Considering this first step is brave and courageous of you, and I would be honoured to help you explore what you need to head towards the path of your healing journey. I offer therapy for adults and teens in a warm, authentic and judgement free space. I am passionate about working with BIPOC women to create a safe space in which we can discuss the impact of stigma experienced from the world around us and also within our own communities. Breaking cycles begins with healing.

My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive, body-centred somatic, and trauma-informed modalities, including EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused and Gottman Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Picture a sacred space of human connection that invites you to make room for the complexity of emotions and healing in relationships. In our sessions, I invite you to cozy up with a warm cup of tea, slow down, and reconnect with yourself, practicing self-acceptance through exploration. From a place of gentleness and curiosity, I aim to help you navigate the thoughts, feelings, and sensations that seem too big to carry alone. Because, I believe that healing begins with the permission to embrace our messy, imperfect selves. Alongside individual counselling sessions, I also offer trauma-informed yoga classes as a complement to therapy.
