My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that healing occurs within a safe and trusting relationship, whether with oneself, one’s environment, or another person. I also believe that every client is an expert in their own experience. I, therefore, approach therapy from a strength-based perspective, aiming to build relationships with clients, understand their needs, help them set goals that align with their unique needs and personal strengths, and explore available solutions that lead us toward these therapeutic goals. As a Metis person, I am particularly sensitive to the needs of Indigenous people.

I work with clients from diverse cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds who are seeking personal growth and improved well-being. My background in anthropology has taught me to gradually gain an understanding of individuals' current sociocultural milieu and past experiences so that we may effectively work together to cultivate healthier interpersonal relationships, build a stronger self-concept, and establish the pillars for long-lasting self-empowerment and confidence.

“A different therapy must be constructed for each client because each has a unique story.” – Irvin D. Yalom. I believe everybody’s story deserves to be heard, and we all have the intrinsic capacity to heal and change. Your presenting concern is as unique as your fingerprint influencing thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Our connections between yesterday and today are roots to be used as foundations to explore new possibilities, personal growth, wisdom and a deeper appreciation of self and others.

Do you find yourself overthinking, second guessing, or putting others’ needs ahead of your own? Are you feeling stuck in patterns in relationships that leave you drained, overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself? Many of the individuals I work with are navigating anxiety, stress, or low mood and are not quite sure how to create meaningful change.

I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta and have more than 10-years experience helping adults find ease & comfort, and recover from feeling stuck in their relationships, career, health, and uncomfortable emotional responses.
I support people who feel an inner pull toward change—even if they aren’t yet sure what that change is. Many come feeling overwhelmed, tense, or disconnected from themselves. Others sense that an old pattern is no longer working, and something deeper is asking to be met. My work is grounded in embodied, somatic therapy. Together, we gently explore not just your thoughts and emotions, but the story your body has been holding — the tension, exhaustion, or patterns of protection that formed for good reasons and can now be renegotiated.

As a Registered Psychologist, I am committed to helping others live a life they deeply value, in spite of what suffering inevitably arises. I offer a respectful, confidential space where you will be supported in honest, non-judgmental self-exploration. Together, we can work on approaching your difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences in new ways: with compassion, understanding, and the courage to be vulnerable. My goal is to help you build behavioural flexibility, so that you are increasingly able to act in ways that align with your values, rather than rigidly re-cycling old patterns of behaviour.

One of the anchoring principles that I hold as truth, is that often, people dont care how much you know, until they know how much you care. This is even more important when seeking therapy. It can be a daunting process; but healing, change, and growth begins with the first step. I consider it a privilege to be on the inside of your stories and approach my work with warmth, empathy, and a healthy dose of genuine curiosity. If you find yourself feeling stuck, stressed, burned out, overwhelmed by life, struggling with negative thoughts, caught in unhealthy cycles in your relationships, you don't have to navigate these feelings alone.
