My areas of focus include self-care, performance and sports psychology; anxiety; depression; dating/relationships; communication; motivation; anger management; and school/work performance.

One of the anchoring principles that I hold as truth, is that often, people dont care how much you know, until they know how much you care. This is even more important when seeking therapy. It can be a daunting process; but healing, change, and growth begins with the first step. I consider it a privilege to be on the inside of your stories and approach my work with warmth, empathy, and a healthy dose of genuine curiosity. If you find yourself feeling stuck, stressed, burned out, overwhelmed by life, struggling with negative thoughts, caught in unhealthy cycles in your relationships, you don't have to navigate these feelings alone.

There is so much pressure to grow up quickly while still trying to figure out identity, relationships, school/ career, family expectations, and life directions.
I primarily work with individuals 12-30 years old. This includes junior high, high school, college/university students, and post grad individuals. You may look like you're doing okay on the outside, but underneath you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, stuck, or unsure of yourself or your future. Others may have noticed or you feel it inside that something is off. Perhaps you've become more withdrawn, irritable, stressed, disconnected, unsteady or even lost.

I am a Registered Psychologist who is passionate about helping children, adolescents and young adults with emotional, academic and behavioral difficulties. I have been an educator and school counselor for the past 30 years and I am cognizant of the struggles that some children or youth experience in the regular school system. My experiences as a classroom teacher and school counselor have prompted a desire to work with students with learning, emotional and behavioral challenges in conjunction with their families.

Do you long to connect with your authentic Self and heal parts of you that are feeling burdened, disconnected and alone? Would you like to safely explore your habitual ways of thinking and feeling, and soften the limiting beliefs that might prevent you from feeling fully alive? Have you endured traumatic experiences, developmental or inter-relational wounding, that is still stored in your body and is impacting your relationships, and your trust in life? If you are struggling with PTSD, anxiety or overwhelm, and feel a lot of stress in your body, somatic psychotherapy can invite healing and bring more ease and freedom.

Hi! I'm William - thanks for coming to my profile. Here is a little about me so you can tell if we are a good fit. My ideal client is curious, open, and ready to explore patterns that no longer serve them. They may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, or navigating relationships but are motivated to understand the "why" behind their experiences. Their goal isn’t perfection—it’s authenticity, connection, and emotional balance. They want lasting change, not quick fixes, and are willing to engage in meaningful, sometimes uncomfortable, work to create a more aligned, fulfilling life.

I believe people desire to grow, and talking with an empathetic, supportive clinician helps them to process thoughts and feelings. This in turn helps clients to gain new insights, perspectives, and understandings, leading to a healthier mental/emotional existence. When individuals get sidetracked by life’s challenges, those challenges need not be faced alone. I am able to work with clients to collaboratively inspire hope and gain skills needed to move forward. Often times, it is "adding a tool to the toolbox" that helps us effectively cope and navigate crisis and personal problems.
