Your at wit's end from being pulled thin in all directions. Perhaps no rest helps your exhaustion or grief. Big life changes are too confusing. Or you may have been recently diagnosed with ADHD — or you're starting to wonder if it's been there all along. Suddenly, years of burnout, overwhelm, and "why does this feel harder for me than everyone else?" start to make sense. You've pushed yourself to keep up. You've blamed yourself when systems didn't stick. And now you're exhausted. Even if ADHD isn't part of your story, you may feel chronically stressed, burned out, or unsettled by a life stage change that's harder than you expected.

Hi, I’m Tracy. I’m a Registered Psychologist with many years of experience in the human services field, bringing both professional and lived experience into my work. I believe change happens through safe, genuine relationships where people feel understood, supported, and emotionally safe enough to explore the harder parts of themselves. While much of my background has been in trauma work, it has also shaped how I support people through anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I often work with people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or exhausted from carrying too much for too long.

You don't have to feel like THIS. You keep moving, hoping life will eventually feel balanced—but the truth is, you’re running on empty. Your chest tightens before you even open your eyes in the morning. Your mind jumps between responsibilities, replaying conversations, worrying about what you missed, and wondering why everything feels so heavy. You’re exhausted from being “the strong one,” the reliable one, the one who keeps it all together even when you’re quietly falling apart. Deep down, you’re craving a lighter, steadier way to move through the world.

I support adults, teens and parents navigating anxiety, emotional challenges, and life transitions. Whether you're adjusting to pregnancy or postpartum, feeling overwhelmed as a parent, or you are a teen who is struggling to manage the stress of peer pressure, identity struggles, relationships or managing emotions, therapy can be a space to better understand what’s happening and find a way forward. With a background in child & youth care, addiction and perinatal mental health, I take a family-centred approach to therapy. I recognize that when one part of the system is struggling, it often impacts the whole system.

Uncertainty navigating boundaries, self worth, relationship conflicts, burn-out, ADHD, anxiety or depression are just some of the things many individuals/couples struggles with. Sometimes these are ongoing struggles, while sometimes they are more situation specific. With the unpredictability of life, and unexpected stressors, we all need support and a safe space to process our emotions and needs. Whatever struggle you are experiencing, you don't have to go through it alone. Prioritizing individual values and beliefs is a key part of creating goals and treatment plans, as I work using a client centred focus.

You may look like you are holding things together, but inside you feel anxious, self-critical, burned out, or tired of second-guessing yourself. Therapy can help you work with the emotional patterns underneath the pressure to keep going. My style is warm, direct, and grounded. Sessions are real conversations: attentive, honest, and human. Being heard matters, but we also look at what your anxiety, self-criticism, or over-functioning may be protecting, and how you can begin relating to yourself differently.

You may feel exhausted all of the time and overwhelmed with no time for you. You might have trouble sleeping and no longer feel like yourself anymore, but you don’t know why. You are tired of going through the motions and fear nothing will change. You experience conflict or a lack of closeness in your relationship. Your arguments go on and on without getting resolved leaving you feeling lonely and further apart. You feel hurt, or a sense of numbness about your relationship. You wonder if you’ll ever have a fulfilling relationship. You’ve had enough troubled relationships. You’re tired of hurting and struggling.

Therapy can be a space to slow down and look more closely at what’s been weighing on you, whether that's anxiety that takes over your day, feeling stuck in old patterns, navigating a difficult transition, or carrying something you can’t quite put into words yet. My goal is to help you make sense of your experiences in a way that feels practical and meaningful. We’ll focus on building flexibility and regulation so difficult internal experiences don’t dictate your choices, while deepening awareness of the patterns, emotions, and values that guide you.

I've always had a desire to work in the helping profession. Supporting teens and young adults as they navigate the distinct challenges of their generation, along with providing therapy to clients ages 7+ through a trauma-informed lens who are struggling with anxiety disorders and trauma are my favorite areas of practice. The way in which life events, even those that seem small, can have a lifelong impact is of particular interest to me. While ensuring a safe and comfortable space for clients, I strive to support clients on their journey of working through the struggles that are holding them back from achieving the life they want.

You love your kids, but if we’re being honest, most of the time you feel like you are barely hanging on, just trying desperately not to lose your cool. You want to give your kids a better childhood than you had, you want to stay as calm as those moms on social media, but you keep falling into the same patterns over and over again. The more parenting strategies you try, the more overwhelmed and riddled with shame and anxiety you become.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
