The goal is not always to make problems go away, but instead, to cultivate the mental and emotional toughness to be able to handle and recover from life’s adversities. As a result, what seemed like a problem may no longer be one, or as bad as was perceived. This is known as resilience, which can be strengthened with consistent practice. I am passionate about working with adult individuals and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief/loss, trauma, stress management, and relationship issues.

The process of dealing with a motor vehicle accident, head injury (mTBI), or sports injury can be life changing. The impact of a traumatic event can filters into every part of a person’s life. Support in processing and integrating an experience like this is possible and can be transformative. My background in the areas of injury rehabilitation, PTSD/trauma, concussion care, chronic pain management, and sport psychology, forms the base of my counselling/clinical work with clients. Together we will work through the emotional trauma caused by mTBI, PTSD, and the emotional distress caused by these injuries. It’s time to START LIVING!
