Let’s be honest—life doesn’t always go as planned. Maybe you’ve been feeling “off,” disconnected from yourself, or weighed down by stress, grief, or old wounds. You might not even have the words for it yet, and that’s okay. Therapy is a space to slow down, figure things out, and start feeling more like yourself again.

I have additional training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, ADHD, Addiction, Couples Work (Gottman L1/L2 certified), and Motivational Interviewing (creating change).
Do you feel like you are living in misalignment with the things you care about? That you're stuck, living with unmet potential and spend time focusing on things that don't match your values? At work or in your relationships, this could be showing up as a big sense of distraction — even though you’re doing so much, it seems like you’re getting nowhere. You have high hopes and big dreams, but feel disconnected and stuck. Something might feel “off” and it’s hard for you to feel motivated to keep going through motions without procrastinating and delaying, and you might have a difficult time not repeating the same negative behaviours.

I draw from trauma‑informed modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Gottman Institute couples training.
I believe in cultivating a mindset of resilience and hope, guiding you toward healing and connection. I understand how grief can feel like a stone in your pocket. I understand how the burdens of trauma, abuse, illness, loss, shame, and disconnection can often feel isolating, unworthy and overwhelming.
I focus on healing the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Utilizing a “bottom-up” approach, I address relational trauma through attachment theory, release trauma from the body and calm the nervous system using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

" As a Registered Psychologist, I work with individuals (adult and teens), couples, and families to help them achieve and maintain mental wellness while going through experiences that challenge them.
In addition to transition, I specialize in identity work. Specifically, who you were, who you are, and who you hope to be as an individual, couple, and family. My work can involve some identity exploration as I believe that some of our mental health challenges are connected to our identities and the way that we make sense of the world around us.

Now accepting new clients!
I believe therapy is a journey—and you don’t have to walk it alone. My role as a counsellor is to walk beside you, offering support, insight, and honest conversation along the way.
I bring an energetic and direct approach to therapy. While compassion and safety are at the heart of my work, I also believe in respectfully challenging clients so they can move beyond patterns that hold them back and reach their full potential. Growth often comes from being both supported and stretched, and our work together reflects that balance.

How does marriage counseling work?
Marriage counseling works by teaching couples concrete skills to communicate with one another and solve disagreements in healthy ways. A trained mental health professional works with both members of a couple to explore difficulties the couple may be having and helps them develop skills to address these matters. Couples who don’t have any difficulties but want to prepare for marriage may develop skills for the future.
How long does marriage counseling typically last?
Marriage counseling is a short-term form of therapy; the process may last between four and eight sessions. Other forms of relationship guidance from mental health professionals, such as couples therapy, are longer lasting, may focus on the past rather than just the present, and are tailored to the individual couple and their emotions, history, and patterns in the relationship. Couples therapy often lasts for 12 weeks or longer.
Is marriage counseling effective?
Marriage counseling helps many couples develop relationship skills that may not have been acquired or tested in a relationship; partners may be better able to communicate and address conflict following counseling. However, there are many different forms of marriage counseling, and this form of counseling does not have as strong an evidence base as other modalities such as couples therapy.
Is marriage counseling effective if only one partner wants to go?
Yes, marriage counseling can still be effective if one partner convinces the other to engage in the process. Of course, whether counseling is effective depends on the couple’s commitment to work on their relationship; however, the short-term, skills-based nature of marriage counseling makes it a relatively easy “ask” of a partner, and the hesitant individual may see its value once counseling begins.
