You’re carrying the weight of betrayal—whether you’ve been unfaithful or discovered your partner’s infidelity. The pain feels insurmountable, and moving forward seems harder than expected. If you’re grappling with physical, emotional, financial, or online infidelity, you're likely searching for clarity, healing, and a way to rebuild trust. Your goal? To restore what’s been fractured, to heal, and to decide the next steps—whether that’s together or apart.

It’s true – life is a balancing act. And so is psychological health.
My aim as a psychologist is to help clients re-tune their nervous systems in a way that leads to greater independence and freedom from unnecessary suffering.
How do we do this? To speak metaphorically, our brain/body systems function much like strings on a musical instrument – when each string is tuned, the instrument produces a resonant frequency; but when one or more systems is out of sync, the resonance of the whole system suffers.

In my initial sessions, clients usually say, “I want someone that gets me.” This is a shared feeling; I also want my therapist to “get me” and connect with me. Hence, I use evidence-based approaches to build this connection with my clients, honoring their stories and enabling them to feel heard, unjudged, and respected. This alliance, I believe, is fundamental to the results we collaboratively attain in therapy. I work with children, teens, young adults, seniors, couples, and families from a person-centered, systemic, and strength-based lens.

I work with individuals who are looking to better understand their personal and social identity. Emphasis in the counselling field is often given to learning new thought patterns and coping skills. While I do this in my practice and find it effective, I also discuss the concept of 'unlearning' and its importance for growth, allowing us to create a new foundation which is centred on self-awareness. When we unlearn these 'autopilot' ways of responding to situations, we can create a reality where we are actively in the driver’s seat to create the lifestyle and connections that we find authentic, meaningful and long-lasting.
