Working with Young Children in Private Practice

This is an online 2-hour workshop for Therapists working with, or planning to also work with, children under the age of 12 in their Practice. Important considerations will be discussed, various excellent Resources will be shared, and opportunities for further training/consultation will be explored. This online workshop will be offered twice a month, starting in September of 2026. 8-week group (1.5hrs, 1x/wk) for individuals actively parenting infant under 24 months of age, and want to develop strong & healthy parent-child relationship, which promotes infant attachment security, social emotional development and well-being. Learn about: Attachment (What is it, why so important, how can I foster secure attachment?), Personality (What's my baby's temperament & how fits with my own?), Communicating (What to do with my baby during daily routines?), Watching (What's my baby trying to tell me?), Following Child's Lead in Play (How to watch, wait & listen, & why important), Connecting & Responding (How can I approach my distressed child?)
