Relate exists to provide fully qualified counsellors as a more "practical to real life" alternative to those with a more academic / theoretical focus. Relevance to what will help real couples in real situations guides our focus. Clients are happy to be able to access counsellors whose training is specifically relevant to "life in the trenches" at an accessible price-point.
