The focus of this Mindfulness/ Yoga group is to learn ways that stress impacts the physiological stress response in the body and influences thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Learn scientific benefits of mindfulness meditation with a variety of techniques that can help to enhance overall well-being and address life stressors. A gentle yoga practice is facilitated and offers a variety of accessible poses that can help to relieve tension and nourish the body. Each session concludes with a mindfulness meditation practice. A variety of counselling and mindfulness resources are provided each week to integrate mindfulness into daily living and to aid in stress-relief.
