Group EMDR Therapy is a brief and targeted intervention to help you reduce PTSD/acute distress from a traumatic event, while also strengthening your grounding and stabilization skills. We implement a specific EMDR Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP) in our EMDR Therapy Groups. Groups (between 2-10 people) meet either in person at our Burlington office or remotely and are facilitated by a Certified EMDR Therapist (Christina Janiga). Our groups provide a supportive space where you DO NOT have to talk about your trauma AND still have the opportunity to reprocess it through guided instructions incorporating eye movements.

Do you struggle with feeling like you don’t quite fit in—unsure of who you are, what you want, or how to move forward? Maybe you're an emerging adult transitioning from school into the workforce, overwhelmed by group projects, meetings, or the pressure to speak up. Or perhaps you're facing a midlife or retirement transition and finding yourself unanchored—questioning your purpose, identity, or direction. Many individuals struggle with a deep discomfort with being “seen,” especially when it comes to speaking in groups, sharing ideas, or being put on the spot. Others carry the weight of earlier experiences—often rooted in childhood.

I work with young people and adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, or cumulative stress, and want to develop a sense of well-being and emotional stability. Going beyond traditional talk therapy, I use somatic (body-based) psychotherapy in healing trauma, including developmental trauma - childhood abuse, neglect, or caregiver misattunement. Somatic therapy is a gentle, experiential approach that integrates awareness of body sensations and movement impulses. This allows the body, mind and emotions to heal from trauma, so you can feel more connected and engaged in your life.
I aim to guide a self-help group to help women going through the stress of divorce and separation. Due to my cultural background, I am well versed with problems faced by South Asian and particularly women originating from India. I hope to create a robust self-help group to help the women with joint camaraderie and sisterhood.

The majority of my clients are struggling with a unique cluster of symptoms that impact their ability to live life on their terms. Most are unaware of the ways our hormones, trauma and ADHD intersect, and too often we are poorly supported. In order for symptoms to shift, we need to address the many ways symptoms arise, and finding cohesive care can be challenging.

Are you a man carrying more than you let on—trying to stay strong, but feeling lost, stuck, or worn down? Maybe it’s the pressure to keep it together, the weight of unspoken pain, or not knowing who you are anymore. You want real support, not judgment. A space to unload, reflect, and rebuild. You’re ready to reconnect with your purpose, improve your relationships, and show up fully—for yourself and those who count on you. Therapy isn’t weakness—it’s the most honest kind of strength.
This group is intended for those seeking group support while dealing with the aftermath of trauma. That might include struggling with trust, difficulty bonding, an inability to sustain relationships, a tendency to withdraw, or ongoing feelings of guilt, shame, inadequacy, or low self-worth. If that sounds familiar, come join the group. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation - it happens in relationship. The group will start as soon as the number of participants is met. It is a closed group, running in 10-session blocks. Meets every week for 2 hours. 6 -7 participants. $60 per session.

It takes courage to reach out for support when not knowing what to do. That can be quite a lonely and painful experience, together with feeling disconnected, stuck and overwhelmed. You can get a better understanding of your feelings and behaviors, see how you are entrenched in your own patterns or how you get in your own way, process past experiences and just talk about heavy stuff without feeling like a burden. This work can bring you closer to understanding and experiencing your authentic self.
