As there is no "one size fits all" approach to psychotherapy, I offer various therapeutic techniques to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, chronic pain, trauma, and difficult life transitions.
I work from a client-centered approach to help you unpack your complicated life circumstances, and help you find new ways of coping, communicating, and moving forward. Some therapeutic techniques that I employ are Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) (informed), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and EMDR Therapy.

I specialize in relational and betrayal trauma, PTSD, narcissistic abuse recovery, relationship issues, such as emotional unavailability, infidelity, breakups, and divorce.
Are you feeling emotionally drained from relationship challenges like conflict, communication issues, or emotional manipulation? Whether it's romantic relationships, family dynamics, or friendships, it’s easy to feel lost, anxious, or even stuck in a cycle that’s hard to break. You might be the one who always "fixes" things—carrying the emotional weight, putting others first, and silently hoping things will get better. But what about you? Relationship pain often shows up as stress, anxiety, depression, or grief. You deserve support that helps you reconnect with yourself, feel emotionally lighter, and find clarity.

I work with clients who have difficulties with symptoms of anxiety and struggling with parenting, coparenting, relationship challenges, divorce, trauma, life-transitions, and emotion regulation.
Do you struggle with meeting yourself with the same compassion and kindness that you give so often to others? Perhaps you are finding it more challenging to take a break and meet your own needs due to the demands of everyday life. Maybe you know you need to make a change, but the overwhelm of not knowing where to start prevents you from fully taking that first step. I am here to help. I provide support to those who struggle with anxiety, stress, life-transitions, emotion regulation, parenting and relationship challenges with a therapeutic approach of mindful self-compassion and ACT.

We work with men facing challenges like anger, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, or trauma, including experiences of abuse.
Are you a man carrying more than you let on—trying to stay strong, but feeling lost, stuck, or worn down? Maybe it’s the pressure to keep it together, the weight of unspoken pain, or not knowing who you are anymore. You want real support, not judgment. A space to unload, reflect, and rebuild. You’re ready to reconnect with your purpose, improve your relationships, and show up fully—for yourself and those who count on you. Therapy isn’t weakness—it’s the most honest kind of strength.

That might include struggling with trust, difficulty bonding, an inability to sustain relationships, a tendency to withdraw, or ongoing feelings of guilt, shame, inadequacy, or low self-worth. If that sounds familiar, come join the group. Healing doesn’t happen in isolation - it happens in relationship. The group will start as soon as the number of participants is met. It is a closed group, running in 10-session blocks. Meets every week for 2 hours. 6 -7 participants. $60 per session.

I assist with trauma related issues, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self esteem, shame.
It takes courage to reach out for support when not knowing what to do. That can be quite a lonely and painful experience, together with feeling disconnected, stuck and overwhelmed. You can get a better understanding of your feelings and behaviors, see how you are entrenched in your own patterns or how you get in your own way, process past experiences and just talk about heavy stuff without feeling like a burden. This work can bring you closer to understanding and experiencing your authentic self.

Trauma and PTSD Support Groups

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
